What can acupuncture treat?
Acupuncture is recognized by the World Health Organization as the most common form of traditional medicine practice. The use of acupuncture covers a wide range of common illnesses such as various types of pain, sleep disorders, morning sickness, digestive issues, and much more.
How often do I need to get acupuncture?
Acupuncture works best when used consistently and timely. Therefore, it benefits from the number of treatments. Generally speaking, new conditions take less number of treatments compared to chronic conditions.
Does acupuncture hurt?
Acupuncture uses very fine needles so quite often people describe it as a ‘painless needle’. Sometimes you may feel a poke that goes away quickly.
How long does an acupuncture treatment take?
Each acupuncture treatment takes 50 minutes. During this time, your practitioner will ask about your health concerns and relevant questions. It also includes a treatment with acupuncture.

What herbs do you use?
I use Herbal pills. They are small in size, and easy to swallow. Pills are an excellent choice for those who don’t enjoy herbal taste. They are manufactured in Chinese pharmaceutical factories under Australian Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards, which are regulated by the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA).
How much does herbs cost?
Herb costs vary depending on your conditions. Approximately, it costs between $20 - $40 for 1 week.
How long do I need to take herbs?
It depends on your conditions. Chronic conditions take longer to treat compared to acute conditions. For acute conditions, it takes approximately 4 - 6 weeks. For chronic conditions, about 3 - 6 months. Most importantly, we aim to balance your body and complete the course.

Do you accept insurance?
​We do provide an invoice. You need to check with your health fund if you are entitled to rebates for acupuncture. All our Acupuncturists are registered with AHPRA (The government department regulating health services in Australia) and are claimable with all the major health funds.

Do you have cancellation policy?
Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late for an appointment may need to be rescheduled. Appointments must be rescheduled or cancelled within 24 hours of scheduled appointment time to avoid cancellation charges.
