My interest in mental health began through my own self-care journey and the experience of caring for my family members. Traditional Chinese Medicine offers a unique and holistic framework for understanding mental well-being.
In our practice, we view emotional health as being deeply interconnected with physical states.
Emotions such as sadness, joy, worry, fear, and anger are believed to have specific placements and effects within the physical body. We often see these connections manifest differently in every individual; for example, depression may cause an increase in appetite for some, while others may experience the opposite. Similarly, some struggle with insomnia, while others find they cannot get enough sleep.
Because of the strong link in the gut-mind axis, I frequently see symptoms of anxiety or depression when this axis is affected. By addressing these underlying physical aspects, we can more effectively support your emotional balance.
I truly enjoy promoting both physical and emotional well-being and find it incredibly rewarding to see the positive changes in the individuals I work with.
